Empowering the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs through ENTRELETE
SONYC BIZ Initiative
The ENTRELETE program has delivered a dynamic and transformative experience for youth participants, exceeding expectations in key focus areas such as entrepreneurship, digital marketing, NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) education, and real-world brand collaborations. Through a structured, hands-on approach, the program inspired students to move from ideation to tangible action, connecting classroom learning with business realities.
Entrepreneurship in Action
At the heart of ENTRELETE’s mission is youth entrepreneurship. Through the SONYC BIZ initiative, students launched two student-led business concepts: Creators of Legacy and Curious Minds Productions. These ventures represented full-circle learning experiences—from conceptualization and branding to marketing strategy development—bringing real-world relevance to every step of the process.
Digital Marketing & Tech Integration
The ENTRELETE AI Digital Marketing Platform was introduced as a cornerstone tool, providing students with hands-on exposure to professional-grade digital strategies. Students interacted with live brands and created media assets including promotional and recruitment videos. These projects helped reinforce the application of digital entrepreneurship while encouraging engagement with current market tools and expectations.
NIL Education & Branding
With the rise of NIL opportunities, ENTRELETE incorporated comprehensive NIL education, compliance training, and brand development workshops into its programming. Students learned how to craft personalized NIL packages and understand the broader implications of branding in sports and media. Athlete participants created individual marketing packages, tying their public image to broader business ventures through film and media production.
Real Brand Collaborations
One of ENTRELETE’s standout features was the facilitation of real-world collaborations. Students worked with brands such as ANTA Shoes, BE BOX LABS, Smokehouse Cookies, and ENTRELETE GLO Hats to create promotional content and product pitches. These collaborations emphasized how youth creativity can intersect with established businesses, producing mutual value and authentic learning.
Strategic Networking & Industry Exposure
The program forged meaningful connections with high-profile organizations like the PEARL31 Foundation, Brooklyn Nets, PlayVS (Esports), and Black Cartoon Network. Although full execution is still in progress, these partnerships opened doors to long-term opportunities in media, sports, and entertainment. Students gained early exposure to pitching and proposal development, gaining invaluable networking experience in the process.
Business Development & Economic Empowerment
While logistical hurdles delayed the launch of a planned pop-up shop, students successfully created activation plans, promotional content, and retail strategies—laying the groundwork for future launches. More broadly, participants engaged with ENTRELETE platform partners and initiated contact with vendors at local, regional, and national levels. This early-stage engagement planted the seeds for sustainable economic impact and youth-led vendor partnerships.
ENTRELETE’s pilot programming empowered students with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to build meaningful business ventures and lifelong entrepreneurial skills. By blending real-world engagement with practical education, the program created a forward-thinking model for youth entrepreneurship, one that bridges the gap between school and enterprise, aspiration and achievement.
